for crimes against humanity

"Under a pretend transition to Democracy, Burmese regime has
been enjoying overwhelming support from around the world. In the meantime,
ethnic cleansing of minorities and political dissidents are at full scale.
Starting from the end of May 2012 until now tens of thousands of Rohingya and
Muslims around the country have been killed, nearly 30,000 houses and their
religious places have been burned down. The violence has created over 100,000
IDPs, and tens of thousands escaped the country. Now it has become a burden to
neighboring countries. The military, security forces and Buddhist mobs have been
committing rapes with impunity. Sadly, the world has turned blind eyes on the
atrocities.
I am a Rohingya currently living in Canada. I lost more than
50 of my family members and closed relatives including my father. Through this
petition I am trying to raise awareness about the ethnic cleansing in Burma. I
hope that through a concerted effort from international community, the killing
can be stopped." ~Anwar S
